a few of my favorite things: indian desserts
1. P4020010, 2. Indian fabric, 3. indian Fabric, 4. Indian Sweetsi love indian desserts. there's a tiny hole-in-the-wall deli that i like to go to get indian food. whenever i get dessert i have to order by asking for "the pink square" or "the brown ball." it's fun having absolutely no idea what it's called or what it tastes like. i think "the pink square" is my favorite though.

a few of my favorite things: burt's bees pomegranate

i love all of burt's bees pomegranate products. i have naturally really greasy hair & if i use a product that is for dry hair it's way too soft & by the end of the day my hair is all stringy. the burt's bees pomegranate & soy shampoo & conditioner are so perfect for my hair. the shampoo leaves my hair looking so nice & it doesn't get greasy. i only use the conditioner every few days but that's more than i used to use conditioner because before i found this conditioner my hair would be limp & too soft if i used conditioner.

favorite eyebrows
i love large, dramatic eyebrows. i hate this current trend where most eyebrows are way over-tweezed, or even worse - clownish, drawn-on eyebrows.

a few of my favorite things: ray ban 5121
1. Eye Chart - Right, 2. Vintage Eye Chart, 3. when I was a child..., 4. leica M7at the end of my senior i finally came to terms with the fact that my eyes weren't working as well as they used to. i went to lens crafter & they told me what i already knew: i needed glasses. & in all honesty i was kind of excited. i remember when i was a kid i used to pretend to not be be able to read the numbers on that chart they give you. either everyone knew i was faking blindness or i wasn't very consistent in my charade. probably both. now my secret fantasy had become real & i was so excited about picking about a new pair. at the time i either wanted a wayfarer style frame or an oversized granny-ish looking frame. my mom told me that i would look silly & i should get something practical. since they didn't have anything even a tiny bit close to the wayfarer style i got some men's glasses in tortoise shell. i liked them. but i didn't love them. i had been hoping for so long for glasses & when i got the chance i got something that just mediocre. well after 2 years of our tepid love affair i decided to do what i had wanted to do orginally. i ordered some ray ban 5121 original style wayfarers. fuck yeah. i'm finally in love with my glasses!

a few of my favorite things: shikai gardenia lotion
(shikai gardenia lotion)i just picked this lotion up from whole foods yesterday & it is already my favorite lotion ever. the scent is perfect - i love white florals (gardenias, jasmine) but most products are unable to capture the beauty & depth of their scent. this shikai lotion perfectly captures the scent of a freshly bloomed gardenia. but this lotion doesn't just smell good, it also moisturizes really well too. i can tell this is going to be a wonderful love affair. today while driving in the car i got a whiff of myself & i told my boy that i smelled like heaven.

a few of my favorite things: kombucha
(kombucha wonder drink)my favorite way to start my day is with a bottle of 'buch. i can't handle anything with a lot of caffeine such as coffee & because 'buch is pretty low in caffeine it is the perfect drink for me. my favorite flavor is the orient blend but i love every flavor.

a few of my favorite things: brown lace-up flats
purchased at wasteland in san francisco, ca. the shoe is made by trotters. i believe the width of the shoe is a bit smaller than my normal size so they are a tiny bit snug but still comfortable. but i broke my toe about two, maybe three weeks ago & since then i haven't been able to wear these guys because they put too much pressure on my broken toe. i hope it heals soon so i can start wearing these shoes again because they are really comfy &, in my opinion, cute.

a few of my favorite things: brown & black oxford
purchased at the out of the closet on sherman way, canoga park, ca. the shoe is made by henry beguelin. i knew that the shoes were really nice, the leather is super soft, i've had them for a year now & they have yet to fall apart (as most of my thrift store shoes do). but i didn't know they were that nice until i looked them up online. thank god for thrift store because otherwise i would've never been able to afford these.
